Doctoral Award for Director of Institutional Research



Dr. Eric Lovik
Dr. Eric Lovik, Director of Institutional Research at Clearwater Christian College, received his PhD. in Higher Education from Penn State University, College of Education on Sunday, May 16. Dr. Lovik is also an assistant professor of Education in the CCC graduate school. Prior to this accomplishment, Dr. Lovik earned his Ed.M. in Educational Administration from Temple University, an M.Div. from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Humanities from Bob Jones University.

Dr. Mary Draper, Vice President for Academic Affairs, said, “Dr. Lovik has worked very hard to defend and finalize his doctoral dissertation amid reaffirmation of the college and his responsibilities as SACS liaison for CCC. The work that he did on his dissertation will have lasting implications for the future of higher education in Christian colleges. Eric’s work as Director of Institutional Research supports and enriches the entire college; I am very proud of Dr. Eric Lovik.”

Together with his wife, Glory (Tyrpak), daughters Annika, Ellie, and Uela, and son Mattai, the faculty, staff, and administration of CCC extend hearty congratulations to Dr. Eric Lovik.
