Teacher Recruitment Conference A Success

On February 7 and 8, CCC hosted the 26th Annual Teacher Recruitment Conference on the college grounds. Representatives from both local and international schools met with interested students for the purpose of recruitment. Fourteen schools were represented, five of which are located outside the United States.

"The Teacher Recruitment Conference is a huge event for our college," said Vice President for Academic Affairs Mary Draper. "It gives Christian schools an opportunity to interview and hire our graduates and meet our undergraduates and build a relationship with them for the future. I appreciate that the administrators use their time and resources to come and invest in the lives of our students. I always enjoy their fellowship, suggestions, and encouragement."

According to Lisa Dollenmayer, director of guidance and career services, the purpose of this conference is to help students create inroads into the world of education. "It is my hope that students would find future employment with the visiting schools and ministries," she said. "Students are given the opportunity to learn if teaching in a Christian school is the Lord's leading. This conference opens doors to our students."

Over 100 CCC students attended this year's conference.
