Cougars Lose to Southeastern University

This was the first time Southeastern had beaten the Cougars since September 14, 2010. Since then, the Fire had dropped 7 consecutive matches to the Cougars.

The CCC winning streak came to an end when after taking the first set 25-23, SEU came back to win the next three sets: 25-18, 25-17, and 25-11 to close out the match.

The Cougars were again led by senior Dana Medich who recorded another double/double with 15 kills and 12 digs.

Clearwater, now 9-2, will return to action this weekend at the Pasco Hernando Tournament. The first match is set for Friday at 3:00 in New Port Richey.
