Cougars Bounce Back With Win


Clearwater bounced back from a disappointing loss last night to take South Florida State College in three straight sets, 26-24; 25-22; 25-12. The Lady Cougars were without their starting setter but junior Kim Ponce stepped up and led the CCC offense recording 13 assists per sets for the match. Richelle Bucklin led all hitters with 15 kills followed by Amanda Bucklin with 12 kills and Dana Medich with 10 kills. Medich recorded another double/double adding 17 digs.

Clearwater will finish out the tournament this afternoon against St. John's State College. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
