Lady Cougars Lock Up Top Seed in Region

The Lady Cougars played at Toccoa Falls for their final region game of the season looking to secure the number one seed for the region tournament.

Clearwater got an early goal in the 3rd minute from Freshman Kelsey Redemann to give them the lead, but the Toccoa defense would tighten up and prevent any more first half goals. In the second half the Cougar offense would come alive early as Kelsey Redemann would get her second goal off a nice redirection. By the end of the game the Cougars would end up scoring three more goals with Rebecca Farrell and Madeline Tewes getting in on the action. Whittney Redemann would also add a goal on a PK to make the game 5-0 equaling the margin of victory from the first meeting between the teams.

The win secures the Cougars a bye in the South Region tournament where they will play the winner of the Toccoa Falls vs. Florida Christian 1st round game.
