After the game Coach Denny commented how pleased she was with her team's performance. "Although it is tough to lose such a tight match, I was extremely pleased with how well my squad competed this afternoon against a very talented and well-coached Berry team. We showed some great maturity on the court so early in our season, and I am excited to see how this team will continue to grow and improve."

CCC was led again on the offensive side with Amanda and Richelle Bucklin scoring 14 and 16 kills respectively. Both ladies were also named to the All-Tournament Team.
