Pre-Med


A career in the medical profession will test your mental, physical, and emotional well-being maybe more than most vocational pursuits. It will be essential that you maximize your awareness, make informed judgments, pay attention to details, minimize errors, and excel academically.

Admissions Requirements


Students pursuing the Pre-Med program are strongly recommended to complete coursework through physics and pre-calculus in high school science and mathematics. Inability to do so may require additional preparatory classes. Pre-Med majors are expected to establish and maintain a 3.5 GPA by the time they earn their sixtieth credit hour. In addition, pre-med majors are expected to have a desire to understand the intricacies of the human body and to help mankind deal with the effects of sin on their bodies.
