NCCAA II Honor Bestowed on Sophomore Hitter
(10/21/09) Sophomore Emma Kile was named the NCCAA II player of the week. The sophomore middle hitter had an outstanding week and helped lead Clearwater Christian College to a 6-1 win/loss record. She is a great asset to her team and has dominated both offensively and defensively in each game.
During this week of play, Emma averaged 4.5 kills per game, a 42% hitting efficiency, and 1.8 blocks per game. At the Regional Tournament, CCC dominated four NAIA and one NJCAA opponents. Emma received the All Tournament Team award.
Emma has been recognized as a team evangelistic outreach leader and considers it a privilege to hand out bracelets and a personally written tract to opposing players after each match against a non-Christian college. Her personal testimony shines even brighter than her contribution on the court. Congratulations, Emma!
