Reformation Day 2006
The annual observance of Reformation Day took place at CCC on Tuesday, October 31. Mr. Robert Carver, associate professor of Greek and Bible, spoke in chapel on "The Five Solas of the Reformation" emphasizing that the Reformers were the exclusivists of the 16th century in much the same way that the apostles Peter and John were before the Sanhedrin in Acts 4. After chapel a sizable group followed Mr. Carver to his office where the traditional nailing of the 95 Theses to his office door took place. The gathered crowd then sang "A Mighty Fortress." Later that afternoon the video entitled "The Reformation Revisited" (made by Mr. Carver and two CCC students 2 years ago) was shown in one of the classrooms.
