What do you like most about CCC?
The thing I like most about the college is the family-like atmosphere on campus from both the students and the faculty.
Brief testimony
I was saved at the age of five. I grew up in a Christian home and in a Christian school; therefore, I had lots of opportunities to grow and learn. Looking back at the spiritual milestones in my life, I see that God has shown and continues to show me to trust Him and desire Him more.
How did you decide to attend CCC?
I decided to attend CCC because I had the opportunity to participate in two sports as well as to receive an accredited education.
What are your plans for the future?
I plan to attend graduate school next year and get my masters in math education. Then, I plan to teach high school and, I hope to coach basketball. After some time and depending on how God leads, I would like to eventually teach in college one day.
Is there a faculty/staff member (or coach) who has made a significant impact
on your life? If so, who? And in what way?
Coach Denny has impacted my life by teaching me to be disciplined, to work hard, and to strive for excellence. Mr. Kellogg, as my "math teacher mentor," has shown me how to reach students even in a math classroom!!
What are some positives about the athletic program at CCC?
I loved the fact that I was able to play both volleyball and basketball, even though each year it became more of a challenge. The athletic program puts God first, which is most important, school second, and the sport last. The competition in our region and the schedules are very competitive; plus we have the opportunity to minister to players at non-Christian colleges.
