Dorm Descriptions


Emmons Hall Emmons Hall is a women’s dormitory made up of eleven units. A unit, which houses up to twelve women, includes four bedrooms, a study lounge with seating for six or seven, and an oversized bathroom (two showers, two toilets, three sinks). Bedrooms are each equipped with a computer hub, three beds, two desks, two closets, and a wardrobe. A refrigerator is provided for each unit. Laundry facilities and a microwave are located on the bottom floor.

Paden Hall Paden Hall is a women’s dormitory made up of fourteen units. A unit, which houses up to twelve women, includes four bedrooms, a study lounge with seating for six or seven, and an oversized bathroom (two showers, two toilets, three sinks). Bedrooms are each equipped with a computer hub, three beds, two desks, two closets, and a wardrobe. A refrigerator is provided for each unit. Laundry facilities and microwaves are available on each floor. An ice machine is located in the lower laundry room. Paden Hall offers a large lounge area in the middle of each floor—one provides a sitting area and the other serves as a fitness room, equipped with a Bowflex machine, treadmill, recumbent bike, and free weights. Ping pong and foosball tables are also located in the lounge area.

Merritts Hall Merritts Hall is a men’s dormitory. Bedrooms are connected to a central hallway, and community bathrooms are available on each hall. Each room can accommodate up to four men. Computer hubs and refrigerators are provided in each room. Merritts Hall has a total of two laundry rooms, one on each floor. The game room, located on the second floor, is equipped with foosball, ping pong, and a pool table, as well as microwaves and vending machines.

Steele Hall The second and third floors of Steele Hall serve as a men’s dormitory. Bedrooms are connected to a central hallway, and community bathrooms are available on each hall. Each bedroom can accommodate up to four men. Computer hubs and refrigerators are provided in each room. Steele Hall has a total of two laundry rooms, one on each floor. Located on the second level of Steele is a game room with foosball, ping pong, and a pool table, as well as microwaves, vending machines, and an ice machine.
