Visit Opportunities
College Days College Days offer an opportunity for prospective students to stay in the dorms, attend classes and chapel, meet with personnel in informative sessions, and participate in activities interacting with CCC students. This is our major prospective student event spanning a three-day period. This event is scheduled in February of each year.
Church and School College Tour Many churches and schools schedule tours of designated colleges for their youth and parents. CCC welcomes such tours and provides a means for inquiry into open dates, registering your group, and confirming participants. Class visits, admission and financial aid sessions, and informal meetings with teachers and students are part of each visit. Advance reservations are required. With prior approval, overnight stays in the residence halls are permitted in many instances.
Visit Alone or With Friends and Family Perhaps you are ready to visit campus alone, with a couple of close friends, or just with your family. We can tailor such occasions to meet your specific needs. Class visits, lunch with select professors and students, and sessions with admission and financial aid counselors can all be part of your time with us. Maybe you can take in a ball game, attend a concert or play, or view local Clearwater sites and sounds. Get started on your adventure today!
Florida Resident Day Due to the special incentives for Florida residents to attend college in-state, CCC hosts a special day for these prospects and their families. Opportunities to visit classes, attend major and financial aid workshops, and to meet college administration and faculty are among the planned activities. This event is scheduled in the Fall of each year.
Homeschool College Day Home schooled students always find a warm welcome at CCC! Realizing the uniqueness of your past educational experience, CCC has designed a program especially for you and your parents where special emphasis is given to preparing for college admissions, becoming a student at CCC, and making the adjustment from home to college. This event is scheduled in the Fall of each year.
Student Athlete Days One of the things many students look forward to while attending college is intercollegiate sports. Student Athlete Days is an opportunity for prospective student-athletes to come investigate the college while displaying their athletic prowess before the CCC coaching staff and current players. This event is scheduled in the Spring of each year.
Parents and Grandparents Weekend Parents and Grandparents Weekend is designed for family members of currently enrolled students who wish to experience college life alongside of their loved one. A good portion of the schedule is designed as 'free' hoping families will be able to spend time together in the immediate Tampa Bay area. This event is scheduled in February of each year (when its cold up north and you are ready to thaw out!).
| | As a music education major, I have been challenged much in my walk with the Lord. The faculty members within the department are an excellent example of what a walk with God ought to look like from day to day. As a future teacher, I have been challenged to make Christ the center of my classroom. As a musician, I have been encouraged to use music to bring glory to God. Every piano lesson begins with prayer. The Lord has provided numerous opportunities for service at my local church using music. As a Christian, I believe that it is my responsibility, and my privilege, to be as musically prepared as I can be to serve my Savior. |
