Parents-Grandparents Weekend

February 18-21, 2010

Would you like to see your CCC student in their college environment? How about visiting their classes and see what they are learning? Eat lunch with them in the dining hall? Parents and Grandparents Weekend provides an excellent excuse for you and your family to visit your CCC student and experience college life.

The schedule is rather informal. At check-in, you pick up your name tag, final schedule, and gift packet and then join your student for classes, chapel, and to meet and visit with professors and administrators who interact with them on a regular basis. You also have plenty of time to whisk your student away for a trip to their favorite restaurant or a trip to the beach or to enjoy one of the many wonderful attractions in the Tampa Bay area. Perhaps you can stay around until Sunday morning and join them for worship at the church they have called 'home' while away at school.

There is no cost to participate (you are our guests for all scheduled meals starting Thursday evening, February 18, through lunch on Sunday, February 21); however, registration is required.

Register online through our easy-to-use registration form or contact Pat Squires by email at patsquires@clearwater.edu or by phone at 727-726-1152 ext. 630. Be prepared to share the following information: the name of your CCC student, the names and relation of each visiting relative, and an e-mail address or telephone number in the event we need to clarify information received.

Looking for Family Photos

To build a little excitement and to make the weekend fun for the entire college family, we are planning some unique presentations in chapel this day. For one, we are looking for family photos including your student that we can use. Please send your appropriate photo, whether you are able to attend our event or not, to Family Photo by February 12. Make sure to identify your family by name and your CCC student so we can give proper recognition.

1:00 p.m. - Cougar baseball vs. Pasco-Hernando Community College (doubleheader) - AWAY
Free time with your student

Sunday, February 21
Attend church with your student.
