CCC Will Observe a Campus-Wide Day of Prayer

"Prayer does not fit us for the greater work, prayer is the greater work." Oswald Chambers

On October 10, 2012, Clearwater Christian College will observe a campus-wide Day of Prayer. The Day of Prayer is a special opportunity to set aside "the daily grind" to seek God's face on behalf of our students, staff, faculty, and college. It is a chance to get away from the mundane and seek spiritual direction for our lives, school, and country.

The uncertainty of the economy and the general state of our society demand fervent prayer from the children of God. As James 5:16 states, "A fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." It is the collective desire of faculty, staff, and students of CCC that God would hear the prayers of the righteous and work on our behalf.

Dr. Jack Klem
This year, there will be several periods of individual and group prayer sessions, and chapel services centered on issues of prayer. The 2012 Day of Prayer will feature messages from our new president, Dr. Jack Klem. Please join us in prayer for our nation and economy, our personal pursuit of spiritual and academic excellence, our pursuit of transforming our lives by the Word of God, our faculty, staff, and students, and the future endeavors of Clearwater Christian College.

Community churches and individuals are invited to attend the CCC Day of Prayer services.
