Concert Choir

Initially started in 1969 under the direction of Clem Boatright, the Concert Choir is one of the oldest music groups at Clearwater Christian College. Admission is determined by an open audition to anyone in the student body. The group ranges in size from 32 to 48 students. Concerts are held on campus, in the immediate community, at local churches, and on short tours in the state of Florida and the southern United States. Recent concert themes have included Agnus Dei: Behold the Lamb where selections from Barber, Faure, Schubert, Byrd, and Mozart were performed and Te Deum: Praise the Lord, All Nations, a collection of hymns from a variety of composers. The Concert Choir is under the direction of Dr. Pattye Casarow.
