Commencement Ceremony

Clearwater Christian College's Commencement ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. The service will be held at Ruth Eckerd Hall located at 1111 North McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater, Florida. Over 85 graduates are expected to be recognized in this 44th commencement event.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. David Doran, senior pastor of Inter-City Baptist Church and President of Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary in Allen Park, MI. Dr. Doran serves as the Chairman of the Practical Theology Department and teaches the core pastoral theology courses in the M.Div. program. He received his education at Bob Jones University (B.A.), Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div., Th.M.) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (D.Min.). Dr. Doran has been married to his wife, Claudia, since 1985. They have four sons (David, Daniel, Dillon, and Derek).

This year's commencement will also serve as our official 'good-bye' to President Richard Stratton and wife Holly as he will start soon his new ministry on the pastoral staff of Heritage Bible Church in South Carolina and introduction of President-elect Dr. Jack Klem and wife Cathy to our expanded CCC family.
