The Secret Garden Musical

The Secret Garden, written by Frances Hodgson Burnett and adapted into an award-winning Broadway hit by Lucy Simon and Marsha Norman, is the story of Mary Lennox. After an outbreak of cholera takes the lives of her parents, Mary is sent to Misselthwaite Manor to live with her Uncle Archibald who is grieving the loss of his wife and the ill health of his son, Colin. Life at Misselthwaite is bleak until Mary discovers a hidden garden neglected since her Aunt Lily's death. With the help of new friends, Mary works to return the garden to its former beautiful state and in the process affects the entire household. Passionate and hauntingly beautiful music brings to life this story of friendship, determination, and rebirth.

By special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., CCC will present matinee performances on March 20 and 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. and evening performances on March 22-24, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Performances will take place at Clearwater Christian College, 3400 Gulf to Bay Blvd., Clearwater, FL. Contact the box office (727-726-1153 ext. 0) beginning February 20 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for tickets. Tickets are $12 (general admission) and $10 (seniors, students, alumni, and military).
