Thanksgiving Break 2013
"Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting and His truth endureth to all generations."
A truly American holiday, Thanksgiving stands as a yearly testament to the goodness of our Heavenly Father. As the CCC family pauses to remember His bountiful blessings from the past year, we encourage students to catch up on projects and prepare for the close of the Fall semester. During this holiday, many students travel home to visit their families, while others bring friends home to enjoy fellowship outside of the college environment.
Thanksgiving Break begins after each student's last class on Friday, November 22, 2013. Airline flights or other methods of transportation should be scheduled with this in mind. Resident students are asked to inform the Student Life office of their departure and destination plans prior to leaving campus.
The residence halls will be officially closed to students at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2013. Students are not permitted to stay in the residence halls over the break unless they are employed by the institution during this period. The College will close administrative offices on November 27-29, 2013 to allow staff to join their families during this time.
Resident students are permitted to return to the residence halls at 8:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2013, and should check in no later than midnight. Classes will resume on Monday evening, December 2, 2013.
