Colin, a
biology major from
Valrico, Florida enjoyed his experience at Student Athlete Days.
"My high school basketball coach recommended that I check out the event.
It was perfect timing because I was looking at colleges and had never considered CCC. Student Athlete Days certainly changed my mind.
The whole experience was welcoming. I got to meet Coach Champion and the guys on the team, and I really liked the atmosphere on campus.
While Student Athlete Days is very competitive, you get a chance to show everyone what you have! I'd definitely recommend the event to
any high school player. I was able to visit classes-classes that were engaging and interactive. They weren't all lectures; as a biology
major, it was important for me to have classes that were fun and enjoyable. I was very impressed with the class."
Colin is now playing forward for the Cougars. He is also the president of the Class of 2014.
