Artist Series: A Tribute to American Heroes

On November 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Clearwater Christian College is pleased to host a vibrant tribute to all American heroes. The free concert will feature the United States Army Brass Quintet, vocalist SFC Leigh Ann Hinton, and the CCC music department.

According to their website, the U.S. Army Brass Quintet is one of the most highly respected groups of its kind performing in 48 states and 14 foreign countries. The preferred musical entertainment at presidential inaugurations, state ceremonies, and White House events, the Quintet provides musical support for events hosted by various offices of the United States government. The Quintet is a part of "Pershing's Own," the United States Army Band.

Vocalist SFC Leigh Ann Hinton is one of the most sought-after sopranos in Washington, DC. Appearing with members of The Bach Aria Group, The Capitol Hill Chorale, and many well-known soloists and ensembles, SFC Hinton has a broad repertoire of musical pieces and recitals. Prior to joining The U.S. Army Band as the soprano soloist, she was a member of the U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters Chorus.
