Alumni Basketball Games

The annual women's and men's alumni basketball games are scheduled for Saturday, November 7 at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the college's gymnasium. We encourage all former players to join us this night for our unofficial 'start' of the 2009-2010 season. The alumni basketball games are great opportunities for former players to 'show their stuff', 'bump shoulders' with the current year's team, and to renew friendships with friends and faculty.

This year you will also have the opportunity to meet our new men's basketball coach and assistant athletic director, Mr. Keith Champion. While new to CCC, Coach Champion is not completely a stranger. A good friend to Coach Wubbena, Coach Champion followed Del at PCC, later coached high school basketball in Georgia, and of late, was the athletic director and men's basketball coach at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College. With PBBC's closing last December, we were privileged to have the Champions join our college family. Keith is teaching coursework in the ESS program, coaching men's basketball, and is the assistant AD. Further information on the Champions can be found in the latest edition of the Chronicle which just recently arrived in your mail.
