Online education is instruction delivered entirely over the internet. Course content, syllabi, and professors are tailored to match this unique learning environment. Course requirements are highly interactive using e-mail, discussions, chats, readings, tests, and web resources, as well as other mediums. Students enrolled in online courses can log on and complete their school work when it's convenient for them. What courses are available?

While this is greatly dependent on instruction level, course requirements, and student readiness, we estimate that you will spend 8-12 hours each week for each course you take. How do I apply and register for classes?
It's quite simple. Complete the online application form. Submit required transcripts and ACT/SAT results (first-time college and dual-enrolled students) to indicate college readiness or satisfaction of course pre-requisites. Those students enrolling for purposes of obtaining a degree from CCC will be asked to submit some additional information. The ClearLine office will send your acceptance letter and payment requirements to you by email. Once you satisfy course charges, you will be given instructions on how to access the Blackboard Academic SuiteTM learning platform to locate program guidelines, course syllabi, and textbook information online. In addition, you will receive ongoing communications from your ClearLine advisor and course instructor that will help you prepare for the course and get acquainted with the fellow students you will be interacting with in the weeks to come. What does it cost and is financial aid available?
Students taking classes through ClearLine will be charged $447 per semester hour for Summer Session Tuition and $610 per semester hour for Fall or Spring Session Tuition. Financial aid is available for degree-seeking students through our financial aid office. Transient students may be eligible for assistance through their 'home' institution. Tuition must be satisfied one week prior to the start of classes. What computer requirements must I meet?
ClearLine courses are offered through an academic learning management system called Blackboard Academic Suite TM. This portal provides a wealth of tools enabling quick and convenient communication between professor and student, access to high-quality content and 24/7 technical support. Students enrolled in ClearLine must have a computer that can access the Internet and Java must be installed. A broadband Internet connection (DSL or cable) is highly recommended because some course features such as video segments may download slowly or incompletely with dial-up connection.
