SDC Brings Bagels to Fire House


In a regularly scheduled community service activity, the women's greek, SDC, brought Panera bagels to the firemen at Firestation 49.

"We do this as a community service activity for our Greek (SDC). It is something our Greek has been doing since I can remember. It is always a lot of fun. The men and women there are always interested in what we are doing and love talking to us," said SDC President, Anna Lufkin.

Andrea Williamson, the SDC Community Service Coordinator said that the greek always enjoys their time at the fire station. "Last time we went they took us for rides in the fire truck, and we had about 10 girls go, and we stayed for over an hour!"

SDC has "adopted" Station 49 as their own and have made the donut/bagel runs a regular community service event on their calendar. The firemen at Station 49 are thankful for the service of SDC.
