Cougars Receive NCCAA President's Award


The Clearwater Christian College Cougars were presented the President’s Award for Excellence at the 2012 NCCAA National Convention held in Greenville, SC, May 31-June 2, 2012.  

Volleyball Coach Vickie Denny is presented with the award plaque.
The award is presented to the school that accumulated the most points based on where their athletic teams finished in their respective NCCAA National Tournament competitions.

This is the second consecutive year that the Cougars were presented this award. Interim Athletic Director Keith Champion stated, “This honor is a reflection of the quality of coaches and athletes that we have representing Clearwater Christian College. It also shows our continued desire for excellence and in honoring the Lord with our athletic teams.” Accepting the award on behalf of the College was ladies volleyball coach Dr. Vickie Denny.

Congratulations to the Cougars for another successful year both on and off the field.
