ESS Students Volunteer at Local Hospital


CCC seniors Ethan Gotcher and Matt Vazquez, juniors Brad South and Alyssa Zallie, and sophomore Doug South participated in the annual Pinellas County Schools’ Athletic Training Program supported by the sports medicine program of Morton Plant Mease Hospital. This program provides free athletic physicals to student athletes. CCC volunteers were among those who supported medical personnel by handling basic responsibilities such as weight, height, vision, and vital paperwork. The five students are enrolled in the college’s Exercise and Sport Science program. This opportunity gave these students hands-on experience in their vocational area, enabled them to interact with professionals in the field, and provided valuable community service to Pinellas County residents.
