Women's Soccer Season Outlook (2012-2013)
Excitement prevails for the 2012 women's soccer team! With the return of 12 players from the 2011 edition of the Cougars and the addition of 12 new players,
the mix of experience and new talent should make for a great year. Returning senior, Katie Mills, and All-American, Whitney Redemann, should provide solid
leadership both on and off the field. Tori Hale, Leah Zwiers, and Kelsey Redemann should add a spark to the offense, while returners Madeline Tewes, Rebecca
Farrell, Amani Marcos, Rachel Maurer, and newcomers Delaney Lester and Jamie Ray will round out the midfield. Returners Lydia Twigg, Samantha Tierney, Alicyn
Bradley, and Cybille Lassegue will anchor the defense with Katie Cralley and Tatiana Critides adding depth to the rotation. Three new goal keepers will be
competing for the starting spot. We are expecting an awesome season as we strive to bring honor to the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in everything
we do!

Cougar Spotlight
I look back on my first year as a college athlete and thank the Lord for the privilege to be part of something bigger than myself. To be a
member of a soccer team gives you the opportunity to bond with other Christian girls and strive for the same goals on and off the field.
Fellow athletes give you a reason to keep playing your best even in the most difficult games.

It's a good parallel to the cause of Christ
and the resources He gives us in our challenges during this earthly race. Like our fellow Christians, we are all pursuing the same goal--to
glorify Christ in all we do. Playing college soccer has been challenging, but the rewards are so evident and to be part of something that
you could never achieve on your own is a privilege that I hope many others come to enjoy in their college experience.
