(12/21/11) Postseason accolades from the fall athletic program at CCC included members of the men's and women's soccer teams and the volleyball team.

I look back on my first year as a college athlete and thank the Lord for the privilege to be part of something bigger than myself. To be a member of a soccer team gives you the opportunity to bond with other Christian girls and strive for the same goals on and off the field. Fellow athletes give you a reason to keep playing your best even in the most difficult games.
more...It's a good parallel to the cause of Christ and the resources He gives us in our challenges during this earthly race. Like our fellow Christians, we are all pursuing the same goal--to glorify Christ in all we do. Playing college soccer has been challenging, but the rewards are so evident and to be part of something that you could never achieve on your own is a privilege that I hope many others come to enjoy in their college experience. |
