Camp Goals
The ingredients of a successful camp are spiritual development coupled with improving technical capabilities, game skills, and self-improvement. To achieve these goals, we will endeavor in our instruction and practice sessions to develop fundamental basketball skills as well as offensive and defensive systems of play. In addition, devotional times will be an integral part of the camp.
Age Limits
Female athletes from ages 8-17 are eligible to attend. For instruction and competition, campers are separated into age and ability groups. The camp accepts students of any race, color, or ethnic origin.
Sign-in begins on Sunday, June 15, at 1:30 p.m. in the gymnasium and ends at 4:00 p.m.
Any unpaid balance is due at this time.What to Bring
Please mark all personal items. Overnight team campers bring linens or sleeping bag, pillow, towels, toiletries, water bottle, flip-flops, and as much basketball gear (t-shirts, socks, modest shorts, etc.) as possible. Please do not bring excessive amounts of cash or valuables such as jewelry, radios, or CD's/MP3 players.
Awards Ceremony
Parents are encouraged to attend the closing ceremony on Thursday, June 19, at 1:00 p.m. in the gymnasium. Awards will be given at this time, after which the camp will end.
Transportation
If your camper is arriving by bus or plane, the camp will provide transportation to and from the bus station or airport. However, we must know the time and place of your camper's arrival at least one week prior to camp.

Camp Directors
Mr. Dean Williams earned his bachelor of science degree in secondary education from Maranatha Baptist Bible College. This is his third year as head coach of the Lady Cougars. He also coached fourteen years in Minnesota at the public school level.
Mr. James Whitaker, athletic director and men's basketball coach at Clearwater Christian College, will serve as camp director. In his first year at Clearwater, Coach Whitaker has played an important role in the college bringing an emphasis on discipleship and mentoring within the team setting. Prior to coming to Clearwater, he served as varsity boys basketball coach and athletic director at Hampton Park Christian School in Greenville, South Carolina for 10 years. During that time, his teams have won nearly 70% of their games and five SCACS 2A State Championships. He was named Coach of the Year in South Carolina every year he coached at Hampton Park. His teams were awarded the Christian School Sportsmanship Award 9 out of 10 years that he coached.

Cost & Registration
The cost of the week is $250, which includes lodging, meals, instruction, a T-shirt and awards. The cost for day campers is $200. Checks should be payable to
Clearwater Christian College. After sending a $50 non-refundable deposit or the full tuition with your camp registration, you will receive a confirmation of your child's registration and other pertinent information.
