(2/6/10) Clearwater, FL- The Clearwater Christian College women's basketball team lost a tight game to Atlanta Christian College on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 55-64. ACC came into the game ranked #5 in the nation, but the Cougars came in focused on pulling off the upset. Cougars Lose Tough Region Game to Toccoa
(2/5/10) Clearwater, FL- The Clearwater Christian College women's basketball team lost a tough region matchup to Toccoa Falls College on Friday night by a final score of 68-62. The game was tight throughout with Toccoa maintaining the lead for the majority of the game. The Cougars struggled from the field and went into the half down by 3 at 36-33. (2/3/10) St. Petersburg, FL- The Clearwater Christian College women's basketball team played well early but eventually fell to St. Pete College by a final score of 79-51. CCC was up by early in the game 20-17 before SPC went on an 11-0 run to grab the lead at 28-17. The Cougars rallied late in the half, closing with an 8-0 run to close the deficit to 38-34 at the half. Cougars Dominate Eagles
(1/30/10) Jacksonville, FL- Clearwater Christian College traveled to Jacksonville for a non-region matchup with Trinity Baptist College, winning 67-49. The Cougars had dominated the Eagles at home the previous week, winning 82-39, but Trinity came out determined to improve on that showing. Lady Cougars Look To Upset St. Petersburg College
(1/26/10) Clearwater, FL-The Lady Cougars lost 81-46 to St. Petersburg College on Tuesday night. The game started out slowly and the Cougars were not at full speed because of some injuries to key players. CCC stayed close with SPC early on but couldn't capitalize on opportunites in the paint, which helped St. Petersburg build a 12 point lead at 35-23 going into the half.
