(2/27/10) Clearwater, FL- Atlanta Christian College defeated Clearwater Christian College 68-47 to win the NCCAA D2 South Region Championship in Clearwater, Florida. This was the second year in a row that the Chargers defeated the Cougars for the title. Clearwater had defeated Atlanta the previous week but couldn't get it going on the offensive end against the Chargers. With the win, the Chargers will advance to the NCCAA National Tournament in Philadelphia in 2 weeks. Cougars Defeat Fire, Advance to Regional Championship
(2/26/10) Clearwater, FL- The Clearwater Christian College women's basketball team defeated Southeastern University 47-44 in the semifinal game of the NCCAA D2 South Region Women's Basketball Tournament. With the win, the Cougars advance to the Regional Championship game against Atlanta Christian College at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Cougars Come Up With Huge Upset Over ACC
(2/20/10) Atlanta, GA - The Clearwater Christian College women's basketball team defeated Atlanta Christian College 59-57 in their final regular season game of the season. Atlanta came in as the #1 team in the region and the #6 team in the nation. The Cougars had narrowly lost to the Chargers earlier in the season and were focused on upsetting ACC on the road and earning the #3 seed in the upcoming South Region tournament. Cougars Struggle in Loss to Toccoa
(2/19/10) Toccoa Falls, GA - Clearwater Christian College lost to Toccoa Falls College on Friday night by a final score of 62-47. The game was the 2nd game of a 3 game road swing up north to finish the season. The Cougars were coming off an important road win over Piedmont Baptist College, but they couldn't find their range against the Eagles.
