Dr. Vickie L. Grooms Denny

Coach Denny has 35 years of coaching experience on various levels of competition. She has coached at the college level for 30 years and is beginning her 25th year at CCC. She has also directed summer volleyball camps and clinics for the past twenty-nine years. Coach Denny's overall goal for the volleyball program is to see young women grow and develop in their love for the Lord and in their love for the sport of volleyball. Her life verse is Galatians 2:20. She is married to Mr. Lou Denny who assists her with the volleyball team.

Lou Denny is beginning his 16th season as the assistant for the CCC volleyball team. He oversees all administrative tasks and also helps with recruiting. For his numerous contributions to the volleyball program at Clearwater, in 2010 he was honored by the American Volleyball Association as the NCCAA National Assistant Coach of the Year.











Danielle returns for a second season in assisting with the Lady Cougars Volleyball program. As a player, Danielle played defense and was a contributing member of four straight NCCAA National Championships. This season she will assist in working with the defensive players at CCC.

God has given me the opportunity to play both basketball and volleyball here at CCC, and I am so thankful! The girls I've had the privilege to play sports with are my closest friends. Every day before practice, we share prayer requests, praises, or a passage from God's Word. It's awesome being challenged by my own teammates to grow more Christ-like through playing basketball and volleyball. I will never forget the memories I've made and the blessings I've received while playing sports.
