Cougar Spotlight
The ability to play basketball at a place like CCC has truly been a blessing to me. After graduating high school, I didn't have a huge passion for the game anymore, though I did want to play during college. After playing my freshman year at a different school, I decided it was God's will to transfer to CCC, not knowing if I would continue to play. more...CCC has a great balance of academics, athletics, and a spiritual emphasis. I have been given many leadership opportunities because I play on this team, and it has helped make my transition to a new school smooth. The athletic atmosphere at CCC makes the long practices worth it. After long pre-seasons, it is easy to struggle with the value of the sport, but after one home game, all those doubts go away. I am so thankful that I was led to CCC. Playing basketball for the Cougars has been an added blessing. |
