Playing volleyball for CCC has helped mold me athletically and spiritually. Coach helped me see my full potential by instilling in me the drive to be a better person. Being pushed beyond my limits helped me see that God is my rock and my strength, not anyone else or myself.
more...Sacrificing everything for God's glory and putting others above yourself. This experience has taught me that I have to look beyond what I feel (i.e. disappointment after a loss) and look to the bigger picture of ministering to the opposing team. As a team, we strive to play our personal best for the One who deserves it. We glorify God using the talents He has given us to play a certain sport. |
