Recruitment At Clearwater Christian College, we recruit talented athletes who have a heart for God and desire to use their athletic talents to glorify Christ. We look to identify student-athletes from around our state and across the country who will help our teams succeed.
While we currently do not offer athletic scholarships, our financial aid department provides further information on the various scholarships, loans, and grants which are available to all CCC students.
Each spring, the admissions and athletic department co-host Student Athlete Days aimed specifically to the prospective student who desires to participate in the CCC intercollegiate athletic program. In addition to typical college visitation activities, the athletic department provides opportunity for prospective athletes to be further informed on program distinctives, to meet coaches, current players, and other prospective athletes, and to compete in unofficial pick-up games. Click the link above for information regarding the next opportunity.
Prospective athletes, who wish to learn more about becoming a Clearwater Cougar, should fill out the interest questionnaire under each individual sport. This information will be submitted directly to the coach of whichever sport(s) you select. (By submitting this form, you are simply asking for further information on the sport(s) of your choosing. It does not obligate you to Clearwater Christian College in any way.) | | Cougar Spotlight
I love being able to play sports at CCC. It is a fun, competitive environment as an added bonus to the great college atmosphere. Being able to compete as a Christian athlete is an awesome opportunity to be a continued testimony of Jesus Christ to those we compete against. more...CCC athletics does an excellent job of putting Christ as the priority for every aspect of the sport as well as making it fun for each athlete. I try to represent Christ and the college in a professional manner so that others may see my testimony and be influenced for the cause of Christ. Being an athlete definitely helps me stay organized and balanced in managing my time between school work, time with friends, and team schedules. Team devotions and group discussions are an important aspect of our team, and has been an encouraging part of my life. The opportunity to compete with fellow Christians is an awesome privilege and is a lot of fun. |
