Cougars Continue Winning Streak

The CCC Volleyball Team hosted their annual tournament for the NCCAA South Region teams this past weekend and finished with a clean sweep, winning all five matches, without even dropping a set. Coach Denny had the opportunity to play most of her new players a significant amount of time and the Cougars went 5-0 for the tournament. Kim Pounce stepped in for injured setter Liz Ennis for most of the matches, and helped run the explosive offense of the Cougars. Strong serving by Amanda Ison and Alyse Sugimoto also helped in the total team effort.

The Cougars are now 13-2 for the season and will face fierce competition this week as they travel to NAIA Southeastern on Tuesday night and then compete in the Pasco Tournament next weekend against some nationally ranked NJCAA teams. Currently the Lady Cougars are on a 13 match winning streak.
