The Cougars come up short on Senior Night.

Clearwater Christian hosted Pensacola Christian on Senior Night, and the game started out with a special event as Colin DeHate was allowed on the court to take one last shot in front of the home crowd. Colin's season ended a week earlier due to a torn ACL. After Colin's basket and the return bucket by PCC the game got underway. The game was a back and forth affair from the start, with 7 ties and 5 lead changes. The Cougars had surged out to a lead early but Pensacola stayed close throughout the first half. Clearwater took a 3 point lead into the break. The second half saw the Eagles take command and ran the margin up to 12 with just under 5 minutes to play, but the Cougars would not go away. A last minute surge by Clearwater came up just short with a last second 3 missing the mark.
Mike Key topped all scorers with 27 points. The four Seniors put up the following numbers in their last home game. Erik McRae scored 17 and had 6 assists. Devin Paularinne put in 11 points to go along with 3 rebounds. Danny Favaro scored 4 points and had a season high 7 rebounds. Colin DeHate scored 2 points.
