The Cougars lose to Trinity Baptist on the road.

For the second night in a row Clearwater Christian faced a good rebounding team. Unfortunately the Cougars were unable to overcome the deficit against Trinity Baptist. The first half the Cougars jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to sustain that and went into the half down 11. The gap in the score was related to the rebounding advantage held by TBC. In the second half Clearwater came out strong and limited TBC on the glass, and cut the deficit to as low as 4, but were unable to get any closer. The final score of 77-88 gave Clearwater their 4th region loss and solidified TBC as the number 1 seed in the South Region tournament.
Clearwater had 3 players in double figures, led by Mike Key with 18, Devin Paularinne with 14, and Caleb Thompson with 11. Paularinne was tops with 6 rebounds and Key added 6 assists.
