The Cougars can't stay with Southeastern in second half.

The first half went as planned with the Cougars playing well on both ends of the floor. With 6 minutes to go in the half the Cougars had a 31-28 lead, but a late 16-6 run by the Fire had Clearwater down 7 at the break. The second half saw Southeastern shooting 61% from the floor and that pace was too much for the Cougars to match. An early second half run by Clearwater kept it close, but the Cougars were unable to maintain.
On the offensive end of the floor the Cougars had another balanced night led by Colin DeHate's career high 20 points, Tristan Shore had 16, Mike Key with 13 Erik McRae added 12 going 6 for 6 from the line and Eddie Moralobo chipped in 10. Shore was tops on the boards with 13, followed by DeHate with 6.
