Clearwater loses two in a row.

Coming off a respectable performance on Thursday night the Cougars looked to get back on track against Madonna University in game two of the Dick Versace Classic, but a slow start derailed the effort early. A Cougar team that is averaging around ten points every 5 minutes was only able to score 5 points in the opening 15 minutes of the game. The Cougars did get over the scoring drought by scoring 50 point in the final 26 minutes of play. However the damage was already done, and the deficit was to great to overcome. Tristan Shore was the top scorer with 15 followed by Erik McRae with 12.
The Cougars have a big week ahead of them, including the first South Region game of the year at home on Thursday November 14 against Piedmont International. They will also take on two more Sun Conference teams. Johnson and Wales at home on Tuesday November 14 and Southeastern University in Lakeland on Saturday November 16.
