The Cougars season comes to an end.


The Clearwater Cougars took on the Eagles from Toccoa Falls in the first round of the NCCAA South Region tournament. The first ten minutes of the game saw the Cougars keeping the game within their grasp, but a 13-25 run by the Eagles but the Cougars down 19 at the half. Toccoa started teh second half with a 3-13 run and the Cougars could not recover. The South Region games will continue today on the campus of Clearwater Christian, starting with the Women's semi-finals at 1:30 and 3:30, and the Men's semis' at 6:00 and 8:00. The Clearwater Women play at 3:30.

The Cougars were led by Colin DeHates' season high 18 points followed by Erik McRae with 12. Devin Paularrine had 7 rebounds, while Brian Horrah and Jonah Dew each added 6. Adam VanWingerden was tops with 4 assists.
