Clearwater Loses Second Straight

Clearwater lost their second straight game as the team continues to try to cope with numerous injuries. The match against Brewton Parker was physical, with several yellow cards handed out to each team. The Cougars failed to convert an early chance in front of goal, and the first breakthrough of the game came in the first half for Brewton Parker. The Barons took the 1-0 lead into the halftime break. Brian Chidarikire had an opportunity to pull the Cougars level early in the second half, but Cam Hall came up big in goal for Brewton Parker. The Barons then added two goals to put the game away and win 3-0. Clearwater’s next match is Tuesday, September 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Glen Oaks Park against rival Southeastern University.
