Cougars Suffer First Loss at Home

The Florida Falcons proved to be too tough to handle on Tuesday night in front of the Cougar home crowd. Although the CCC team took set one in a close 25-22 win, they were unable to keep pace against the strong offensive and defensive efforts of the Florida College team who came into the match with a 10-4 record. According to Coach Denny "FC is always a tough competitive team for us to play, and tonight they came to win. They are a solid team. We hope to learn from this difficult loss and come back stronger the next time we play them."

Emma Kile led in the offensive attack with 16 kills while Richelle Bucklin led the defensive efforts with 18 digs and two blocks. The Cougars now 14-2 will play at Southeastern University on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m.
