Women's Soccer Defeats Tennessee Temple


The women's soccer team traveled to Tennessee Temple University on Thursday, and came away with their second consecutive shutout victory. Goalkeeper, Ahna Boley made 4 saves in net for the Lady Cougars. Despite having a majority of the chances, the Lady Cougars were unable to score in the first half. Shortly after half-time Rebecca Farrell scored her second goal of the season off an assist from Katie Mills. Farrell scored again off a through ball from Whitney Redemann to give the Cougars a 2-0 victory. Coach Bates was pleased with the defensive effort from the team and happy to come out with a shutout victory.

The Lady Cougars will play again on Saturday against Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama.
