Elisabeth Ennis
Postseason accolades from the fall athletic program at Clearwater Christian College included members of both the men’s soccer team and the women’s volleyball team. The athletic department is pleased to announce the following recognitions.
Three men’s soccer players were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-American team. Following the second straight national championship, seniors Jeff Crews and Tyler Spraul and sophomore Anthony DeRosse were named to the All-American team in a press release issued by the NSCAA. In addition to the All-American honor, all three players were named to the All-Tournament team at the national tournament. Jeff Crews was named Most Outstanding Player and Tyler Spraul was named the Most Outstanding Offensive Player.

Coach James Whitaker said, “These three players have been a huge part of our team’s success this season and are well-deserving of this significant accomplishment. It has been exciting to see them grow both on the field and in their walk with Christ.”
The volleyball team also earned several national recognitions during the 2010-2011 season. Each year, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) honors the top college volleyball players from across all levels of competition.
