I've learned that the most important part of athletics is being a Christian first and an athlete second. I try my hardest while representing our school and, more important, Jesus Christ. A Christian athlete is different than a normal athlete because a Christian realizes that the most important part of athletics is to glorify God in all that is done. I put forth my best effort in my sport for Him. Coach has really encouraged me by making sure that we focus on our spiritual walk. He is always open to talk about anything, to listen, and to help me in any way he can.
