Playing soccer in college is such a gift that God has given me. I love playing soccer. Even before Christ saved me, soccer was my escape when things were rough in my life. It was everything to me. But now that God has so gloriously captivated my life, He's letting me use my love for soccer to help me love Him more. I always think ahead to the future, and I just know that some of my best college memories will be from playing. God has also taught me so much through playing. Probably the biggest thing being, to just step back and realize that every game could be of eternal significance, if I would just play it that way. To play for Him. Lessons, life long friendships, and good times. |
