Cougar Spotlight
Soccer is one of my favorite aspects of college. Some of my best friends were made from the team and some of the best times were enjoyed while playing soccer. Being a Christian athlete allows me to be a testimony even while "playing".
more...As such, I try to play for God's glory, not mine. The team prays together, we helped at a Christian Camp for a day, and we keep each other accountable. It was the best way to build strong relationships. Being an athlete brings opportunities to be a witness that I may not have had otherwise. Being a student-athlete has helped me be much better at organizing my time and prioritizing everything I have to do. On and off of the field, Coach teaches us how to be a better player and always challenges us to try harder and push longer; spiritually, mentally, and physically. |
