Playing soccer is one of the best decisions I have made at CCC. On the field, Coach Bates pushes us; he challenges us to push ourselves physically and to be spiritually strong. I've learned that I don't just play for myself, or for my coach, or even for my school; ultimately, I have an 'audience of One'. more...God is the One Who has given me ability - I glorify Him by not wasting it, but by using it to the utmost, and giving Him the credit. Being an athlete at CCC is an incredible platform for a Christian; it presents so many opportunities to meet people, be a testimony, and share the Gospel. |
