(5/10/13) After Florida Christian College defeated Cairn University 15-2, they advanced to face Clearwater in the semi final game of the loser's bracket. Coming into the game, each team was two wins away from the championship series.

(5/9/13) In an elimination game on Thursday evening, Clearwater squared off against the NCCAA DII Midwest Region champions, Lincoln Christian University. Both teams entered the game with a win and loss.

(5/8/13) After advancing in the winner's bracket after winning the first game of the World Series against Arlington Baptist College 2-0, the Cougars were matched up against rival Toccoa Falls College. The Eagles advanced in the winner's bracket after defeating Cairn University 11-0.

(5/8/13) On Wednesday afternoon, the #4 seed Cougars opened up the NCCAA DII College World Series against #5 seed Arlington Baptist College (Texas). The Patriots won the Southwest Regional Championship to advance to the World Series.

(05/07/13) The Clearwater baseball team received an at-large bid to the NCCAA DII College World Series and is slated as the four-seed entering the tournament. This marks the second time in three seasons that the Cougars have made it to the national tournament.
