Academic Commitment
The athletic department at Clearwater Christian College is committed to academic excellence. We partner with our student-athletes to make sure they are successful in the classroom, as well as on the playing field. At CCC, we believe that academics come before athletics; our student-athletes must be dedicated and disciplined in order to compete in both arenas.
EligibilityFirst-time freshmen are eligible for consideration provided they do not enter under academic probation. All other athletes (transfer and current students) must satisfy the 12-24 Hour Rule. This means the athlete must be enrolled in at least 12 hours each semester while having passed 24 hours in their previous two semesters. In addition, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.0 to participate on one of our teams. |  | Cougar Spotlight
Clearwater offers a wonderful opportunity for intercollegiate athletics with other top performing private Christian schools!! There is a definite challenge and competitive atmosphere when competing on the team! The golf program had the opportunity to interact with several church ministries and families while competing in GA and SC. The coaches take the time and effort to help strengthen and fine tune your athletic abilities, as well as your relationship with Christ! |
