The mission of the Cougar Sports Camps is to provide the highest quality of sport instruction in a
distinctively Christian environment. Sessions will focus on individual and team fundamentals and provide
opportunity for skill practice and game competition. A Bible study or devotional is scheduled into each
day emphasizing the timeless truths and principles from the Word of God.
Note age parameters for each camp on the chart above. The camp accepts students of any race, color, or ethnic origin.
What to Bring
Overnight Campers: bedding, pillow, towels, toiletries, water bottle, flip-flops, appropriate and modest tee-shirts
and shorts, and personal sport gear (knee pads, etc…). Do not bring excessive amounts of cash or valuable including
jewelry and music equipment. Day Campers should not bring items associated with an overnight stay.
Transportation from local bus and plane terminals is available. Email specific arrival information, including terminal
location and date/time of arrival, to the camp director at least one week prior to camp.
From I-275 (in Tampa): Follow the Airport/Route 60 West exit to Clearwater which goes across the Courtney Campbell Causeway
spanning Tampa Bay. Campus is the first right on Damascus Road, west side of the causeway.
From the south (I-275N): From St. Petersburg, take exit 16 (Largo/Clearwater), merging onto Roosevelt Boulevard North (686 W). Stay to the right, taking the CR 611 North ramp, merging onto 49th Street N. (Bayside Bridge) to Clearwater, exiting east to Tampa. CCC is approximately ¼ mile on the left.
Each camp has a director who is a member of the Clearwater Christian College and supported by current and former members
of the CCC coaching staff and athletic teams. Contact information and links to the directors' bios are provided below.
God has given me the opportunity to play both basketball and volleyball here at CCC, and I am so thankful! The girls I've had the privilege
to play sports with are my closest friends. Every day before practice, we share prayer requests, praises, or a passage from God's Word. It's
awesome being challenged by my own teammates to grow more Christ-like through playing basketball and volleyball. I will never forget the
memories I've made and the blessings I've received while playing sports.
